The JCUD aims to facilitate knowledge sharing within the urban drainage community. The JCUD, and it’s working groups, therefore organise or participate in the organisation of various events and conferences. These events include the International Conference on Urban Drainage (ICUD, organised every three years in a different location encompassing all the processes in urban drainage and sewerage), the Novatech Conference (organised every three years, focussing on stormwater management), the Urban Drainage Modelling Conference (UDM, organised by the working group every three years and focussing on modelling of urban drainage and sewarage systems) and the Sewer Processes Network (SPN, organised by the SPN working group, focussing on the processes within sewer systems).
Additionally, the JCUD organises various (online) dissimination events aimed at highlighting research done by promising (young) academic in the field and the JCUD related working groups organise various other workshops (e.g. EURO-SAM by the Urban Drainage Asset Management working group). An overview of the planned events can be found below and on the main page of this website.
